2014 National Sheepdog Finals – USBCHA (United States Border Collie Handlers Association) The event will feature 225 top qualifying Border Collies from the United States and Canada. Handler and dog teams will square off with Colorado’s capricious range yearlings for six days of competition to determine the 2014 National Sheepdog Champion and 2014 National Nursery Sheepdog Champion.

The event will be co-hosted by Strang Ranch, Aspen Valley Land Trust (AVLT) along with the 2014 National Finals Sheepdog Trials Committee.
The partnership of AVLT, Strang Ranch and the National Sheepdog Finals is a natural fit. AVLT has conserved Strang Ranch’s iconic meadows in conservation easement, which will prevent future development. AVLT will be the primary benefiting charitable organization for the 2014 National Sheepdog Finals, and will receive the entire proceeds from ticket sales.
